Our Story
In 2015 we bought the farm.....literally!
It started as a fixer-upper project with 2.5 acres of overgrown avocado and citrus trees on a beautiful hillside in Fallbrook, California.
We already had our hands pretty full with Adam being a full time musician and songwriter, and Stephanie being a high school science teacher and Pilates instructor. But we've never been afraid to take on a new - and crazy - challenge.
We knew that the avocado grove was too big to manage affordably, and the lack of care on the property needed immediate upgrading and a new direction. So we made some difficult choices and removed most of the avocado trees and planted 3 types of eucalyptus trees on the fertile soil. We kept 28 avocado trees and 8 citrus trees and sell their fruit at our local Farmer's Markets.
The eucalyptus trees took to the healthy soil and our forest began to grow and flourish. Originally we only sold bunches of our eucalyptus stems to local florists and at the market, but Adam got one of his crazy ideas and started delving into essential oil production. We found that almost all of the eucalyptus oil you see is outsourced from China, India, or Australia. After a lot of education, research, and trials we realized that this was something pretty special - and hard work! We're proud to be one of the only farms in all of the USA that produces its own eucalyptus oil.
We have always shared a love of naturally farmed products, fresh local produce, and aromatherapy - and of course dogs! With this farm we found an opportunity through natural farming techniques to create products that we connect with, and that hopefully provide our patrons with joy and the highest personal touch and quality.
Our two mastiffs - Gozer and Tiberius - help us maintain daily adventures and a free spirited view of life on a farm. Although I think they would rather have wanted us to put in a pool .
